The text contains a wealth of data:new dates for Fishbone Cave in the Great Basin,an article on the Western Stem lithic industry in the NW USA,that "might" predate Clovis,
information on the occupation of the Glacial Lake Alconquin southern region during the Younger Dryas, etc. There is also a pronounced change in the attitude of some American archaeologists etc towards the discovery of modified fauna bones in the Canadian Yukon.A number of them have accepted the 1999 paper by Jacques without  reservations. At long last the old Quebecois may be about to get the recognition that he so richly deserves!!Justice could prevail at long last.

Well, thank you Bob, but I am a bit confused. Don't you think that a precise reference to the "text" you're talking about would be useful.

Best,

Thanks. I have the book, but it will take me a while to go through it all. I thought you were making reference(s) to specific sections or chapters. Apologies for bothering you with this, and "merci" again for the "old québecois" qualifyer. As of a few days ago, it has become official.

Best,

Jacques
