I just found out about a very interesting publication.

According to this Reuter News (relayed by AFP too) Homo Habilis and Homo Erectus did probably cohabit on Earth for about a million years...

For REUTER's news flash on Wed Aug 8, 2007 2:22PM EDT, look at "Fossils paint new picture of human evolution"

For communiqué  PARIS (AFP) - 08/08/2007 17h51, look at "Homo habilis et Homo erectus, de vieux voisins"

The full paper will be published in Nature on Thursday... I'd be interested to get more info when the Nature paper will be available...
