Unless I am badly misinterpreting Wolpoff's Paleoanthropology (1999), OOA proponents primarily utilise the phylogenetic species concept whilst Multiregionalism rests upon an evolutionary species concept. Leaving aside the numerous and well documented morphological and archaeological disagreements, have there been any works which both contrast and examine in details the different evolutionary theoretical underpinnings of the contrasting human evolution theories ?

Well,  although I do not necessarily agree with everything that is  said in it, John Relethford's paper in Annuyal Review of Anthropology (1998) and his book (which runs parallel to his paper but much more detailed) does address the theoretical issues in a way that would be at least in part what you are looking for.
