Member's presentation

Dear all,
Looking at member's profiles is a disapointing exercise. The format doesn't give much space for letting members describe what is their interest in prehistory. For those who have a personal blog or website it is possible to fetch such information, with some effort, but many don't have a website.
I suggest that having some background on members could help us when we have to look for some expertise...
One possibility would be to add a series of specific individual presentation question fields and/or an unformated "Self presentation" field in the member's profile to allow a personal description of one's interest in prehistory, but that will require some work to change the interface and I know that running a website is already a lot of work. The advantage though, would be that one could search profiles in a consistant way to find specific competences / interests among members...
Another solution, less formated, would be to open a "Member's presentation" board. In that board members coud give some short information on what they do in prehistoric matters. If appropriate, tell where they work on these subjects (University, field research,etc.). List their publications if any, and be allowed to update their own entry.
All the best for 2008
