A very interesting article on the evolution of cognitive capabilities of Homo Sapiens Sapiens vs Neanderthal and the impact on their interaction when they met.
"A Stone Age Meeting of Minds, Neanderthals became extinct while HomoSapiens prospered. A markes contrast in mental capacities may account for these differences."
