Thanks a lot Jacques,
I really liked the paper on Egyptian Palaeolithic art. It complements nicely the paper on the same subject wich was published in Antiquity last year. It also adds Abu Tanqura Bahari in el-Hosh to the site of Qurta.
It confirms the exceptional nature of this form of naturalistic animal representations. This is one of the elements I use in my own hypothesis concerning the possible role of "autistic savants" in early palaeolithic art. Conversely, my hypothesis could offer an answer to the common styles of animal representation between these Egyptian engravings and the Franco Cantabric Magdalenian (and Aurignacian if we add Chauvet Cave paintings). The so called naturalistic style being in my hypothesis a neurological capability to remember and then reproduce images of objects seen in space.
