this is simply due to server configurations for the journal.
Given that we want the Forum to function and be viewed as an integral part of the Journal, it is now normal to walk in, as it were, "through the front door", i.e.,
http://www.palanth.com/This will allow subscribers (to the Journal) to have access to all modules and contents. including monitoring and, hopefully, contributing to the Forum discussions. The procedure (including levels of access) for the registered Forum members and guests/visitors remain the same.
