Hi,
I wonder if anyone else has come across the same problem... when I enter the url www.palanth.com/forum I am informed it's an invalid URL. There is a link to the main page, which works fine, and then it's ok to go to the forum from there (separate browser window). I wonder if anyone else has not managed to enter the forum directly?

regards,
Isabelle

Hi Isabelle,

A "/" is needed after forum.

www.palanth.com/forum/

BTW one can go directly to the recent posting listings by setting the following as a favorite or bookmark (this is a very nice addition to the forum):

http://www.palanth.com/forum/index.php?action=recent

Isabelle,

Dutch is right,
this is simply due to server configurations for the journal.

Given that we want the Forum to function and be viewed as an integral part of the Journal, it is now normal to walk in, as it were, "through the front door", i.e., http://www.palanth.com/

This will allow subscribers (to the Journal) to have access to all modules and contents. including monitoring and, hopefully, contributing to the Forum discussions. The procedure (including levels of access) for the registered Forum members and guests/visitors remain the same.

Not only that, but if you happen to be particularly interested in monitoring what goes on in a given topic, you can just click on "NOTIFICATION", and you will automatically receive info on the progress of the discussion (if any!).

It is now possible to access the forum by typing www.palanth.com/forum without the "/" at the end...

Simple reconfigutration!

Thank you all for the feedback!
