I have just finished reading a 30 page debate from another board re Eswarans paper.
While I am aware of the basics re DNA 'tracking', then comes the issues of haplotypes, linkage disequilibrium, pairwaise distance distribution, allotypes, etc etc,.
Can anyone give an insight or a few references to ease my confusion. I appreciate some have spent years in attaining the knowledge they have now, and I imagine there is no easy fix, but its just a 'genetics for dummies' thing I want to begin with. I think it would help others too.
Reagrds,
Rich
