For your information:

There is unfortunately not much new that has recently come out on the Blombos Cave investigation, but here is something that looks to be an addition to the Blombos main website. It consists of few high resolution pictures that are presented as “distribution free”. Some are certainly worth looking at.

Hi Jacques,

It takes some time to browse through this wonderfull discussion forum, hence this late comment...

So I just saw this posting on Blombos cave. Thanks for this great site with great pictures.

By the way are there other websites that provide high quality pictures of parietal or mobile palaeolithic art ? (Free, as is the case for the Blombos images, would be even better)

Images from most other sites on prehistoric art are rather low definition.
