A quote from a  breaking news story released today at:

reads:

"Trinkaus said a jawbone belonged to a man aged about 35. He said part of a skull and remains of a face including teeth belonged to a 14- to 15-year-old male and a temporal bone to a woman of unspecified age."

Matching perfectly with the description of the Pestera cu Oase human remains described earlier in the journals PNAS and JHE.  Also see photograph and story at:

One can only speculate on the timing of this recent news report, noting also that the story does not specifically name Pestera cu Oase (that is strictly an identification tentatively made by me) and that the site location is being kept secret.  But perhaps this is an indication that Trinkaus and Zilhao will soon have something new to say about this.

Roger,

That is correct.  His name is Jacques Cinq-Mars, and I'm sure he would accomodate any questions you have concerning Bluefish Caves with an authoritive answer.
