This should be of interest to many, if not all Forum members. First. you probably have noticed that the membership list has been slowly but steadily growing. We now number 136 members and we don't doubt or, at the very least, we are very hopeful that with the end of field work and/or Summer farniente, and the switch over to more "normal" Fall conditions/activities, i.e., what we call "la rentrée" in French, this trend will pick up speed. Even more interesting is the fact that about 32% of our membership is made up of people from countries other than the US, the UK, and Canada. This we take to be a very positive and encouraging response to our stated desire to make the Forum and, by extension the Journal, fully international. And since it seems that most if not all of these members have learned about our existence through the ever mysterious but nevertheless efficient "grapevine", we urge you all, once again, not to hesitate to keep spreading the word around.

One suggestion people may consider is this:  If you are running a graduate seminar, note the forum  to your students.   It  would be interesting to see what emerges if small groups of roving graduate students doing common reading and engaged in a common seminar start to populate the list.
