All,

Having noticed that the URL I had provided in my initial post regarding the next IPPA (Indo-Pacific Prehistory Association) Congress was not functional anymore, I decided to remove the entire message and I now replace it with links to some updated information which can be accessed HERE and HERE.

And having gone through the trouble of turning all this HTML presentation into an eminently readable and printable PDF, I take the liberty to make it temporarily accessible HERE.

The full package is quite interesting and it is to be hoped that some of the issues to be examined and discussed will end up being made available to a broader audience (such as was done with material from an earlier similar congress (see HERE).

At any rate, I certainly envy the people who will have the opportunity to attend.

Addition to the above-quoted post
To be found HERE, an annotated -- i.e., selectively highlighted with due personal biases -- PDF version of the IPPA 2006 abstracts. Needless to say you are certainly entitled to disagree with my choices and highlight what may meet your fancy.
