Dear Palanth members,
I was informed last week of a very sad news. Thierry Koltes the owner of "Ma Prehistoire" website and Prehistofofum discussion passed away on March 5 2006 following a devastatingly fast cancer (7 month). His wife asked me yesterday to inform Thierry's friends. He was often participating to Palanth so I thought that some of you may have known him (He was writing under the pseudo Thurr Khan).
Besides loosing a friend in the prehistoric community I would like to say that Thierry's endeavour was a great contribution to this field of prehistory. For the French readers, I can but recommend a visit to his website "Ma Prehistoire"
Click here for accessing the site . Thierry had done a tremendous job at making information about prehistory readable by a large public of beginners as well as experienced amateurs. His wife will take over the relay to maintain the website as well as the discussion forum.
Let me suggest to the French speaking members to also have a look at the discussion forum where they could express themselves in French.

I hope that these two information medias on prehistory will continue to allow prehistory amateurs to enjoy their contents. I will do my best to help Thierry's wife to continue his work as she asked me to do.
